https://www.khutbah.info/eid-al-fitr-khutbah-the-ultimate-truth/ Allahu Akbar. Allah is the Greatest, the believers fasted for Him in devotion and servitude. Allah is the Greatest, the faithful stood in prayer before Him with love and humility. Allah is the Greatest, the doers of good exerted themselves for His sake in hope and fear. And to Allah belongs praise, we cannot enumerate His praises as He has praised Himself.
Verily, all praise is for Allah. We praise Him, we seek His assistance and we ask for His forgiveness. And we seek refuge in Him from the evils of our selves. Whoever Allah guides, none can misguide. Whoever He misguides, none can guide. And I bear witness that there is no deity other than Allah and I bear witness that Mohammad is His slave and messenger.
Al Imran 102 : O you who believe! Fear Allah as He should be feared, and die not except in a state of Islam.
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Laa Ilaha illaLah, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa liLahil Hamd
Al-Jathiyah (45) 36-37: (36) Then, to Allāh belongs [all] praise – Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, Lord of the worlds. (37) And to Him belongs [all] grandeur within the heavens and the earth, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Laa Ilaha illaLah, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa liLahil Hamd
Fear Allah so that you may succeed. Fear the One who created you and provided for you, then causes you to die, then brings you to life, and then to Him you shall return. There is no success for us except through being conscious of Him Almighty, and there is no power for us and no strength except through Him, and there is no salvation from His punishment except by steadfastness upon His religion.
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Laa Ilaha illaLah, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa liLahil Hamd
O people, glad tidings to those who fasted, and glad tidings to those who prayed at night, and glad tidings to the doers of good. They observe Eid while they are between hope and fear, hope for acceptance and fear of rejection.
Al-Mu’minun (23) 60-61: (60) And they who give what they give while their hearts are fearful1 because they will be returning to their Lord – (61) It is those who hasten to good deeds, and they outstrip [others] therein.
O Allah, accept from us and from all Muslims our fasting, prayers, and all our deeds, and bless them for us, and increase us in Your obedience, and turn us away from disobedience to You.
And as for those who were negligent in Ramadan, and wasted it in idle talk and chatter, and in witnessing falsehood and slander, and who did not safeguard their fasting, and did not perfect their prayers, and did not restrain their tongues, and did not guard their hearing and sight from the forbidden—then their loss is great. O Allah, guide them to Your straight path, and make obedience to You beloved to them, and make disobedience to You detestable to them.
Continue in performing righteous deeds after Ramadan. For indeed Allah, the Exalted, is worshipped at all times and in all circumstances. Wretched are those who do not know Allah, the Exalted, except in Ramadan. Maintain the obligatory acts, and perform the voluntary acts, and do not abandon the Qur’an. Let each one of us have their daily portion of the Qur’an, and their nightly share of prayer, and a measure of charity, giving, kindness, and voluntary fasting.
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Laa Ilaha illaLah, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa liLahil Hamd
Guidance to Islam is guidance to the truth, and it is the greatest blessing. For the happiness in this world and the Hereafter is dependent upon having faith and righteous deeds. Islam calls to the worship of one Lord with no partner, and this is the true worship. For worship of anything other than Allah, the Exalted, is false worship, which neither benefits in this world nor in the Hereafter, and it is the cause of punishment and misery.
Al-Hajj (22) 62: That is because Allāh is the True Reality, and that which they call upon other than Him is falsehood.
The Messenger of Allah, Mohammad ﷺ is the Messenger of Truth, and every call that does not follow his way is a call of misguidance, and every reform that does not stem from his guidance and Sunnah is corruption; because it is adherence to falsehood that opposes the truth.
Al-Baqarah (2)119: Indeed, We have sent you, [O Muḥammad], with the truth as a bringer of good tidings and a warner.
And Allah Almighty’s Book is the truth:
Fatir (35) 31: And that which We have revealed to you, [O Muḥammad], of the Book is the truth, confirming what was before it.
And it’s narratives are the truth.
Aal-e-Imran (3) 62: Indeed, this is the true narration.
And its rulings are just.
Al-Ma’idah (5) 48: So judge between them by what Allāh has revealed and do not follow their inclinations away from what has come to you of the truth.
The people of faith are the people of truth, whereas all other communities are the people of falsehood. There is nothing other than faith or disbelief, truth or falsehood.
Muhammad (47) 3: That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood, and those who believe follow the truth from their Lord.
The greatest blessing is guidance to the truth, for most of humanity is astray. Their misguidance is mainly due to their ignorance of the truth.
Al-Anbiya (21) 24: But most of them do not know the truth, so they are turning away.
There are some who know the truth but arrogantly refuse it. The truth is clear to them, yet they do not follow it, nor do they leave its followers alone. Rather, they exert their efforts to turn the people of truth away from their truth and lead them into falsehood.
Al-Kahf (18) 56: And those who disbelieve dispute by [using] falsehood to [attempt to] invalidate thereby the truth.
But the people of truth, with their truth, are stronger than the people of falsehood with their falsehood, even if the people of falsehood have all kinds of power.
Al-Anbiya (21)18: Rather, We dash the truth upon falsehood, and it destroys it.
This is because the truth is what Allah—Exalted is He—wills to prevail, and Allah is dominant over His affairs.
Only those of weak faith are influenced and swayed. Allah Almighty said:
Yunus (10) 94-95: (94) The truth has certainly come to you from your Lord, so never be among the doubters. (95) And never be of those who deny the signs of Allāh and [thus] be among the losers.
For falsehood will never prevail over the truth. For the truth will inevitably triumph over the inherently weak and transient falsehood. Allah Almighty says:
Al-Isra (17) 81: And say, “Truth has come, and falsehood has departed. Indeed is falsehood, [by nature], ever bound to depart.
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Laa Ilaha illaLah, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa liLahil Hamd
I say what you have heard and I seek forgiveness from Allah for me and you from every sin. So seek forgives from Him, Verily He is Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.
Second Khutbah
All praise is to Allah, and peace and blessings upon the Messenger of Allah, and I bear witness that there is no deity other than Allah and I bear witness that Mohammad is His slave and messenger.
All praise is due to Allah, the Generous, the Merciful, the Forbearing, the Great; no one who is faithful to Him will ever be humiliated, and no one who opposes Him will ever be honored. Majesty is His robe, and greatness is His garment. The earth and everything upon it are but a speck of His creation, and the world and all that is in it are nothing more than an hour of the day.
Oh people:
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Laa Ilaha illaLah, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa liLahil Hamd
O Muslims, the truth is strong by virtue of its truthfulness, even if its carriers are weak, and it invalidates falsehood even if falsehood appears dominant and powerful. The relentless endeavors of falsehood against the truth will never harm or abolish the truth. These efforts only increase the people of Allah Almighty, the seekers of the Hereafter, in firmness upon the truth, steadfastness upon faith, and strength in conviction.
O Muslim woman, O you who fast and pray—know that efforts to undermine Muslim women, their hijab, and their modesty and purity are rampant. There are countless tactics and campaigns of falsehood attempting to stifle and corrupt the Muslim woman.
Every believing woman must stand firm—protecting her faith and her modesty, and confront falsehood with the power of the truth. By standing strong and refuting falsehoods, a Muslim woman demonstrates that she is unbreakable, that her shield is impenetrable, and that her faith is strong.
Muslim women must nurture a culture of refuting falsehood and countering it with the truth. They should never belittle a word that they speak or a line that they write in defense of their religion and chastity. For perhaps Allah—Exalted is He—will grant her His pleasure through it.
At the same time, they must beware of supporting falsehood even if it is disguised and presented in an attractive way. For whoever endorses falsehood or is pleased with it is like the one who calls to it. Perhaps a single stance in contradiction to the Shari’ah of Allah—Exalted is He—could bring about His wrath. May Allah—Exalted is He—protect the Muslim women and strengthen their efforts to support His religion.
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Laa Ilaha illaLah, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa liLahil Hamd
O Muslims, today is our Eid, the Eid of the people of Islam. It is the day of joy for completing the fast, so let us manifest happiness and delight in it, spreading joy within our homes, our families, and our communities, for rejoicing in it is among its rites. Let us honor our parents on this Eid, maintain ties of kinship, be generous to our neighbors, and uphold the commands of our Lord in our celebrations, refraining from what is forbidden. For indulging in forbidden acts spoils the joy of Eid, incurs the displeasure of our Lord—Exalted is He—and contradicts gratitude to Him.
Let us remember, on this Eid, our less fortunate brothers and sisters who have live in poverty or are deprived of security and peace. May Allah—Exalted is He— comfort them and relieve their distress and suffering. Let us dedicate part of our Eid to remembering them and supplicating for them.
Let us follow Ramadan with fasting six days of Shawwal, for whoever fasts them along with Ramadan, it is as if he has fasted the entire year, as mentioned in the authentic Hadith.
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Laa Ilaha illaLah, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa liLahil Hamd
I conclude with this and send prayers of blessings and peace upon your Prophet as your Lord commanded:
Al Ahzaab (33) 56: Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels [ask Him to do so]. O you who have believed, ask [ Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [ Allah to grant him] peace.
O Allah, guide us with those whom You have guided, grant us well-being among those You have granted well-being, be an ally to us along with those whom You are an ally to, and bless what You have bestowed upon us, and save us from the evil of what You have decreed. For verily You decree and none can decree over You. He whom You support can never be humiliated. Glory is to You, our Lord, You are Blessed and Exalted.
O Allah, We ask You for all that is good, in this world and in the Hereafter, what we know and what we do not know. O Allah, we seek refuge with You from all evil, in this world and in the Hereafter, what we know and what we do not know. O Allah, we ask You for the good that Your servant and Prophet has asked You for, and we seek refuge with You from the evil from which Your servant and Prophet sought refuge. O Allah, we ask You for Paradise and for that which brings one closer to it, in word and deed, and we seek refuge in You from Hell and from that which brings one closer to it, in word and deed. And we ask You to make every decree that You decree concerning us good.
